CDPS - Piercing Connector for Underground (IP68)

Purpose: Tapping of insulated aluminum or copper cables in low voltage underground systems.

Characteristics: Insulation-piercing connector (no stripping of cable insulation required). Used with 0.6/1 kV XLPE/PE (Class 2) or 450/750 V cables (Class 2, 4, or 5), with or without cover layer. The connector includes a shear head nut to ensure a secure connection. It has tin-plated copper contact pieces that guarantee reliable bimetallic connections (AL-AL, AL-Cu, and Cu-Cu). Additionally, it features elastomeric rubbers, making it water-and- dust-proof with IP-68 protection.

Application: Instalation in underground electrical conduits or junction boxes.

Material: Polymer connector resistant to weather and UV rays. Includes tin-plated copper contacts and elastomeric rubbers.

Application Tool: 10 mm star or socket wrench.
